Kiwiverse LLC is a web-based school management system, specially designed to facilitate the administration of schools. Its registered office address is located at: 500 South Bronough Street Tallahassee, Florida 32399-0250.
Consent
In specific situations, we can collect and process your data with your consent.
For example when you tick a box to receive email newsletters, or when we send you certain marketing information. We will only send you our newsletter for as long as you continue to consent.
Cookies
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Categories of data we might process
Personal details like names, emails and phone numbers, family details, lifestyle and social circumstances.
Some of our schools might also process sensitive classes of information, stored in our databases, that may include health details of children.
Information security
We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data.
Where do we store your data?
All data you provide to us is stored on secure WHM servers located in Utah, USA.
We also backup the school data on secures S3 Cloud computing located on the west coast of the United States.
Data retention
If a school ends their Kiwiverse subscription, data held within the live system will be deleted within 3 months of cancellation. Backups of data containing user-identifiable information will be deleted within 6 months.
Your rights
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) outlines several rights.
Eveywhere we rely on consent to processing your personal data you can request to withdraw your consent at any time for example, you may choose to stop receiving one of our newsletters by clicking the unsubscribe link in any e-mail we send to you.
As a data subject, you also can:
Ask for access to, or rectification or erasure of your data.
Ask for restricting processing (pending correction or deletion).
Ask for objecting to communications or direct marketing.
You should address such requests to the school that uses our system and which acts as the Data Controller.
